Weekes Law’s Affordable Bankruptcy Program was attacked by the United States Trustee for Region 19, in the District of Utah and by a competing law firm. The opposing parties argued that Capstone’s Affordable Bankruptcy Program violated various bankruptcy rules arising from, inter alia, “(1) the marketing of Zero-Down Chapter 7 bankruptcy services; (2) the bifurcation of bankruptcy services into pre-petition and post-petition fee agreements; (3) filing the petition and the Initial Bankruptcy Papers for purportedly no charge; and (4) the reasonableness of the [] post-petition fee….”
The good news for Utahans facing potential bankruptcy is that the Utah Bankruptcy Court upheld Weekes Law’s Affordable Bankruptcy Program in each and every respect!
