We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Legal Document Specialist. Job Summary:
The Entry-Level Legal Document Specialist will be responsible for preparing and filing legal documents using established templates. You will learn how to draft, review, and accurately file legal documents, ensuring they meet regulatory and court requirements. No prior legal experience is required—we will provide the training and support you need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Preparation:

    • Learn to use and customize document templates to draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence.
    • Assist in reviewing documents for accuracy and proper formatting.
    • Support the legal team in ensuring that all documents are prepared to the firm’s standards.
  • Filing and Record-Keeping:

    • File legal documents with courts, government agencies, and internal systems under supervision.
    • Maintain and update electronic and paper filing systems for easy retrieval and compliance.
    • Monitor deadlines and assist in ensuring that all filings are completed on time.
  • Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with attorneys and other legal staff to gather necessary information for document preparation.
    • Communicate with external parties, such as filing services, under guidance to ensure proper processing of documents.
    • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to continuously improve document workflows.
  • Process Improvement:

    • Contribute ideas for enhancing document templates and filing procedures.
    • Stay informed about basic legal filing requirements and best practices as part of your training.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required.
  • Experience:
    • No prior legal or document management experience required—comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
    • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Good organizational and time management abilities.
    • Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach.
    • A proactive mindset and a commitment to accuracy.
