If you do not agree on major issues, you may need a contested divorce.
To use this online uncontested divorce service, you must meet Utah’s basic legal requirements:
If you are unsure whether you qualify, you can start the questionnaire and we will review eligibility before filing.
Not sure which option applies? Choose based on whether you have children under 18 together.
Answer guided questions about your agreement, finances, property, and (if applicable) children. Most clients complete the questionnaire in under 30 minutes.
Your divorce documents are attorney-prepared and sent for review and signature.
Once approved and signed, we file your case with the court, monitor the waiting period, prepare final pleadings, and follow up until the judge signs your Decree of Divorce. Most uncontested divorces are completed significantly faster than contested cases.
This service is offered for a fixed legal fee. No hourly billing. No surprise litigation costs.

NOT included:
Yes. This service can be used whether or not you have children, as long as both spouses agree on custody, parenting time, and child support. If there are disagreements, this service is not a good fit.
Only one spouse needs to purchase and complete the questionnaire. The documents will reflect agreements already reached between both parties. The documents will be sent to both parties for approval before filing them with the court.
No. This is a document preparation service designed for uncontested cases. It is not litigation, mediation, or representation of both spouses in a dispute. If issues are contested, you will need a contested divorce.
Most clients complete the questionnaire in under an hour. Once the documents are prepared and filed, the timing of the divorce depends on court requirements, including any mandatory waiting period, but is generally completed between 45-60 days.
In some cases, a motion to waive the waiting period may be available for an additional fee. Approval is at the court’s discretion and is not guaranteed.
Yes. The documents will be prepared and sent to both parties for approval. We will then file them with the court on your behalf.
If the divorce becomes contested at any point, this service is no longer appropriate. Additional legal services would be required.
Because our process and documents are customized based on your information, refunds are generally not available once the process has begun.
This service is intended for Utah. Whether Utah courts can exercise jurisdiction over the parties depends on whether there are minor children (children must be located in Utah for 6 months prior to filing the case). If there are no minor children involved, then Utah jurisdiction will apply when the parties either reside in Utah or agree to file the case in Utah.
